I told you I was on top of things this week! Look at me getting on my exercising in, all my planning, all my products, and all my DIYing. I must be excited about my upcoming three weeks off. Gotta love that year-round schedule! :)

What do you do to increase and reinforce comprehension skills during the holidays? What do you do to relieve stress on the weekends?

  1. This year, I'm using a close reading nonfiction packet with multilevel passages about holiday traditions. I love to just hang out with my family on weekends. Have a great three weeks off! Year-round schedules seem to have their perks.

    1. There are definitely some perks! :) Sometimes I do miss the longer summer break, though.

  3. I love using Reader's Theatre during the holidays. We are doing the Gingerbread Baby today! Weekends I jog or surf, and work on TpT stuff. Sundays are all about my family :)

    1. I need to start incorporating more reader's theater. Maybe that will be my goal for the next nine weeks during guided reading. That is a time when I typically pull in those science and social studies readers and discuss those standards. Sometimes I feel like there is so much to cover and just not enough time! :)
